The stone is so small that on the ear it reads as a dot of colour with a little sparkle rather than a piece with a shape. Each round cubic zirconia is held by four fine prongs, so the metal is barely visible. Choose violet, black, red, pink, blue or green to match an outfit or a manicure. At 4 mm the studs suit a second or third piercing, sit quietly beside other earrings and are small enough for a child's ear. They fasten with push-backs, and the platinum plating on a hypoallergenic, nickel-free base does not tarnish or darken from water.

How to measure your finger

Measure a ring you already have

Take a ring that fits the finger you want to wear it on. Use a ruler to measure straight across the inside — that is the inner diameter in millimetres, and it is also the ROTAS69 size. Enter it in the calculator.

Measure your finger

Wrap a narrow strip of paper around the base of your finger (not over the knuckle). Mark where it overlaps, straighten it and measure the length in millimetres — that is the circumference.
